Samui is a 40 minute flight from Bangkok and can also be reached with direct flights from Hong Kong, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur.

Celadon is 25 minutes from the airport and is located in the Maenam district of Samui.

THINGS TO DO

  • Maenam Beach can be relatively quieter than its other Samui counterparts in Chaweng or Bophut, but this means that it’s a great place to relax, either during a long stroll, or while enjoying drinks at a beachside restaurant.
  • Adventure seekers should definitely try zip-lining across Samui’s rainforests. Treebridge Zipline is around 15 to 20 minutes from Maenam Beach, which lets you experience a rush of adrenaline while taking in views of the Samui rainforest.
  • If you’d rather be closer to the ground but still don’t mind something off-road, Samui’s hills and rainforests can also be explored on ATVs and buggy rides. The X-Quad Samui ATV Tour is popular with tourists.
  • Of course, for those with a more laidback itinerary like golf aficionados, head to the Santiburi Golf Course for a game or two.
  • Visit Fisherman’s Village, Bophut Beach, the dining hub of Koh Samui with over 40 restaurants, many of them beachfront or on the sand itself. Most shops and restaurants are open from late morning or early afternoon. The Village becomes a vibrant “Walking Street” and is closed to traffic from 5pm on Fridays.
  • The 12-metre tall seated Buddha statue represents Buddha’s journey to enlightenment and is a symbol of meditation and purity.
  • The Hin Ta and Hin Yai Rocks (Grandfather and Grandmother) at the southern end of Lamai Beach draw visitors who marvel at the fascinating (if not also suggestive) rock formations. The waters around the rocks are typically crystal clear, though too shallow for swimming.
  • Silver Beach, otherwise called Crystal Beach, sits along the cliffs that separate Lamai from the Chaweng area.
  • Shopping opportunities in Chaweng include Central Festival Samui, and the walking street and night market, with their many food stalls and retail booths.

Thank you so much!! We truly enjoyed your beautiful villa and we were so relaxed after a week in the atmosphere. EVERYTHING was above expectations including Bee´s food. We used the pool a lot! We are amazed of how you managed to create such a beautiful and modern paradise on top of that steep hill. We also enjoyed most of your recommended restaurants (incl W Hotel!), the snorkelling tour to Koh Tao and the elephant ride by the waterfall. We will most certainly check with you next time we plan to go to Thailand..to see if the villa is available.

We have just had the most amazing week at your villa in Koh Samui with my family … I wanted to let you know how absolutely incredible both Renu and Bee were this week. I cannot speak highly enough of the entire experience – the villa is of course amazing but Renu and Bee’s thoughtful and friendly hospitality made it really special. They both went above and beyond for my dad’s birthday, organising a special dinner, cake, gifts and even fireworks! … We will definitely be recommending Celadon to our friends and I really hope one day we can go back to visit.

Back from our holidays in Koh Samui, we just would like to tell you how great was our stay in your amazing Celadon Villa. We were especially fascinated by the pure design of your villa, the all open spaces, the huge infinity pool and  the great sea view from everywhere in the house. Everything was furnished with taste and very clean. Renu and Bee where lovely and they cooked also very well. Your local reference book with nice beaches and restaurants addresses was very appreciated and allow us to discover a different Samui. We really had a great time there,  but not enough to do everything! We hope to come back soon with friends and would to address you a special thanks to you.

Just a short note to tell you what a nice stay we had at your villa on Koh Samui island. Our three children and friends were thrilled and our vacation in Thailand came to an end in a perfect way after 6 days in your splendid villa. We loved every bit of it, especially the tasteful decoration. Renu and Bee largely contributed to the success of our stay. They are very efficient and lovely people and their food was just wonderful.

My partner and I spent the past week at your “retreat” Celadon in Samui. I just wanted to send you a quick email to say what a lovely place it is but also more importantly to say how wonderful Bee and Renu are. They really did look after us. I wish it wasn’t so far away from the UK! Thank you for making it possible for us to experience such a calm and peaceful environment which was greatly needed.

My favourite villa in Thailand. This is my 2nd time stayed at Villa Celadon and everything was perfect! My favorite villa in Samui ( or maybe in Thailand ) Travel to Koh Samui in October is not a good idea but we got lucky with some sun and it’s so nice and beautiful! Villa Celadon is charming, nice design and beautiful decorations. I will come back to this place again.

Out of this world. Oh my, this villa is The Dream! The pictures describe the property well but until you’re actually at the villa, believe it or not but it is even better than the pictures! The villa comes with the staff who are super friendly and make the best Thai food or whatever food you want really, however we only wanted authentic Thai cuisine. The gym is a great feature that my husband used daily but I didn’t actually make it to the gym ..:))) I did however do yoga every day outside by the pool and water fountain, soaking up the zen looking out the incredible sea view. I wish I could live at Celadon, totally envious of the lucky owners who have decorated the villa immaculately with a high quality finish. I’ll be back ! Thanks for having me I am so happy I found you. :))))

This villa is a dream! A million dollar view, and the bedrooms are probably the most comfy rooms we have ever stayed in. The service is great, food is delicious and all over a very vibey villa. We have already checked availability for our next stay here! Perfect for families and couples!
